facWEEKLY February 28

We hope you've had a good week, FAC Family! Here are just some of the great things happening in the coming weeks.

Worship This Sunday

Harvest Faithfully | Matthew 28:18-20

It's in our denomination's name, "The Christian & Missionary Alliance." They are Jesus' last words to His followers in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)..."go into all the world and preach the gospel"...FAC supports missionaries, also known as International Workers (IW's) throughout the world. Can someone please explain why this is so important?

Come this Sunday for a tour around the world to see what God is doing and how you can be a part of it!

Prayer & Worship Night

Date: Wednesday, March 5
Time: 7pm
Place: in the Worship Center

Join us on Wednesday, March 5, at 7pm, in the worship center as we gather for a time of Prayer & Worship. Our hope is to see this and future gatherings be a time of people seeking God in prayer together, times of celebration, and times of intercession for each other. Let’s see what God will do at FAC as we seek Him first. May all our concerns be met in Jesus as we come to Him in prayer.

We kindly ask that you use the two main entrances of the building as our youth group also meets on Wednesday evenings. For the safety of our students, the office entrance will remain locked.

We are excited to introduce a new study, "Practicing the Way" by John Mark Comer and to be offering two different group/meeting opportunities.

In this study, we will explore how to deepen our spiritual lives as followers of Jesus. This study is for both newcomers looking to build a relationship with Him and long-time followers seeking growth beyond routine. In this 8-week study, we will explore spiritual formation, following Jesus, finding God in pain and suffering, healing from sin, and creating a daily rhythm to grow closer to Jesus.

30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World

Did you know that a third of the world is Muslim, and they will be spending the month of March fasting and praying to draw closer to God? Join us in praying for the one true God to meet them as they seek closeness through their efforts. Pick up a booklet at the Hub today to help guide you in prayer and learn more about those needing Jesus.

It's not too late; pick up your booklet and start praying today!

Our Daily Bread Devotional

Are you familiar with the Our Daily Bread devotional? According to their website, Our Daily Bread Ministries helps people grow closer in their relationship with God, become more like Jesus, and respond to God’s Word through the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Did you know we have these devotional booklets available right here at FAC at no cost to you? This quarterly publication is available in both regular and large print. Stop by The Hub to pick up a copy for you and a friend today.

Prayer for International Workers

Bob and Cheryl are international workers supported by FAC, serving in Guadalajara, Mexico. They have been facing spiritual warfare. It has been raised to the level of the Regional Director and might lead to a type of intervention with counselors from member care. They truly believe this is coming because they are in the midst of the building process of a church facility that will be a light in that very dark area. Please pray.

You can learn more about them by picking up a copy of our “Prayer Guide for World Missions” near The Hub, and you can partner with Bob and Cheryl in ministry by giving to the Great Commission Fund.

Do You Have a Prayer Request or Praise?

"Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere" (Ephesians 6:18, NLT).
The staff and elders at FAC would love to pray for you. Send your request or praise to Pastor Scott through the form below.
