Are you longing for space to slow down, listen, and seek God together? Do you desire to go deeper in prayer and worship alongside others in our church family?
Encounter: Prayer and Worship Nights are set aside for exactly that—a focused and unhurried time to seek the Lord and intercede on behalf of one another, our church, our ministries, and our community. FAC is committed to being a praying church, one that depends on God and listens for His leading as we gather in His presence.
These nights are an invitation to lift our eyes to Jesus, unite our hearts in corporate prayer and worship, and encounter God together in a meaningful and expectant way. We believe He uses moments like these to strengthen our faith, draw us closer to one another and to Him, and form us more fully into the people He is calling us to be.
Come expectant, invite someone to join you, and be part of what God is doing among us.
We look forward to seeing you there!
In our current sermon series Five Prayers, Pastor Ben encouraged us to pray bold prayers—not just for our individual lives, but for First Alliance Church as a whole. One of our first steps in seeking what God has next for FAC is prayer and vision casting. Our Board of Elders and ministry staff have been praying over the past several months, and now it’s your turn!
We’re going to set aside time for the congregation to come together in prayer, and share your ideas and thoughts because we’d love to hear your vision. Think of it as a big “whiteboard event,” where every idea (within reason) is a good idea!
We had a great first session last week, and we’d love to see you again in the FAC Worship Center on February 11 at 7pm.
We hope to see you there!
FAC is a missions-focused church. We want everyone to know Jesus. There are people in our community who don’t know Him, and there are people on the other side of the planet who don’t know him. We aim to change that by reaching into the community and sending into the world.
facWEEKLY is our weekly e-newsletter with the latest information about what’s happening at First Alliance Church.
A new edition is published every Friday. You can view the latest right here by clicking on the image, or you can sign up to have it sent directly to your email’s inbox every week!
Getting involved at a big church can be tough, but it’s a vital component of your Christian life. We are made to live in community, in cooperation with each other. We believe that if you start getting connected at FAC, you’ll find us to be the family you didn’t know you had. Fill out the form below to let us know where, when, and how you’d like to get involved, and someone will be in touch shortly.
Join us this week as we continue our prayer series and look at the importance of reading Scripture in context and discovering some prayer postures that we can use in our own prayer life.
