On this page, you’ll find everything you need to know about who we are, when we gather, and all the exciting events we have coming up. We’re here to help you stay connected and make the most of your time with us!

Vision

facYOUTH is a Christ-centered place for students in grades 6–12 where we desire to see them “GO” and live a life of discipleship under Jesus. We create a space where they know they BELONG and where they can GROW in Christ, and where they can be equipped with the tools to SHARE the gospel of Jesus to the world.

Core Values

BELONG

  • We want our students to know this is the place God has led them to—a place where students know they’re safe, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

GROW

  • We want our students to grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus. As they draw near to Jesus, we believe their love for others will grow!

SHARE

  • We want to see our students become passionate about sharing the gospel of Jesus through word and deed.

facYOUTH Group | Midweek Gatherings

Wednesdays, 6-8 PM @ Youth Center
Our Wednesday night Youth Group is the heartbeat of our ministry. These evenings are packed with fun, laughter, and meaningful connections—think hangout time, snacks, group games, worship, and impactful Bible teaching.

Small Groups - (right after midweek gatherings)

From 8-9 PM on Wednesdays, we transition into Small Groups— where students are split into age and gender specific gatherings led by our amazing adult leaders. This is where deeper friendships are formed, and true spiritual growth takes place.

Refresh - Sunday Morning Gatherings

Sundays, 9:30-10:30 AM
Refresh is our Sunday morning gathering that meets in the Youth Center. Here we focus on Worship, Prayer, and Scripture Memorization. It’s a time to be rejuvenated through fellowship and meditating on God’s promises. Each week, we introduce a new Bible verse tailored to the season of life your teen is in. It’s a refreshing start to the week, and we’d love for you to be a part of it!

Meet the Youth Pastor and Youth Assistant!

CHENZONG VUE
Youth Pastor

Hey there! I'm Chenzong, but you can call me Chen. I have the absolute joy of serving FAC as the youth pastor! A bit about me: I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, then went to Crown College, where I graduated with a degree in Pastoral Leadership (2014). Before my time at FAC, I served in Detroit, Michigan, for several years until the Lord called my wife and me here.

My wife Ellen and I have been married since 2018, and she's seriously the coolest.

I'm always down to try new things, but the ones that have become a hobby are fishing, reading, and sneaker collecting!

My heart for our students is pretty simple: to see them live a life that shows Jesus to the world. It will take time and hard work, but I am blessed to be a part of what Jesus will do in their lives.

You can catch me on Sundays and throughout the week hanging out with our fantastic staff at the office. So come by and say hello!

MARK ANGELOTTI
Church Ministry Resident

In 2015, I was invited by a friend to Youth Group here at FAC. At the time, our family was searching for a new church and we felt right at home here, so we decided to stay and have attended ever since!

Today, I serve on staff as the Youth Ministry Assistant, and more recently as a Church Ministry Resident where I’m experiencing the various components of pastoral ministry. In 2024, I graduated from Mercyhurst University and am currently pursuing an M.A. in Christian Ministry at Toccoa Falls College.

Working in the youth ministry here has been both a rewarding and an exciting time. The ministry where I was led to faith in the LORD by Pastor Mike Kaczorowski is now the ministry I get to help lead under the faithful direction of Pastor Chen. Pouring into and building relationships with youth students has been one of the greatest highlights of my life, and I couldn’t be more excited about where God is taking our church and youth ministry.

Outside of work, I love volunteering in the Children’s and YA ministries, playing tennis, hiking, and spending time with friends!
