facWEEKLY June 28

We hope you've had a good week, FAC Family! Here are just some of the great things happening in the coming weeks.

Worship This Sunday

Living the Good Life | Week 2 | A Backwards Reality | Matthew 5:1-12

Have you ever admired the way someone carries themselves, the life they live, or what they’ve been able to accomplish? We look at them and wonder, How did they do that? In Matthew 5, Jesus gives us a look at Living the Good Life, yet as we explore what He shares with people, we soon discover there’s some kind of backward reality in play.

What does Living the Good Life look like?

Join the 55 and better crowd as Pastor Scott takes us through an in-depth study of the book of Revelation! This book unlocks the mystery of history and proves that God is in control. Revelation brings sense to our suffering. You've probably heard that God will wipe every tear from our eyes. That verse is found in Revelation. And we are reminded in Revelation that Jesus Christ is the centerpiece of all creation. This is a book that brings comfort, not a book that brings a fear of the future.

June 30th we will be in Revelation 8.

So, for our members and regular attenders - whether you've been a part of our family for many years or are new to our crew - we hope to see you there! We'll have a picnic dinner and fun for all ages.

Prayer Card for Kindervaters

If hearing our newest International Workers (David and Evangeline Kindervater) speak has led you to pray for them, please pick up a prayer reminder/bookmark at The Hub.

Prayer for International Workers

David and Evangeline Kindervater are international workers supported by FAC, serving in Tokyo, Japan. They are returning to Tokyo on July 2nd after a year of stateside service at Crown College. Praise the Lord for providing an apartment for them to rent that is perfect for their ministry!

You can partner with David and Evangeline in ministry by giving to the Great Commission Fund.

Sunday Footnotes:

A gentle reminder to our Sunday family: if the service has already started, please refrain from using the center aisle to enter or leave the worship center, especially during the sermon time. Our camera operator needs a clear view of the pulpit.

Do You Have a Prayer Request or Praise?

"Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere" (Ephesians 6:18, NLT).
The staff and elders at FAC would love to pray for you. Send your request or praise to Pastor Scott through the form below.
