David & Evangeline Kindervater

TOKYO, JAPAN

David and Evangeline have served 25 years as church planters in Tokyo. Tokyo is a city of 37 million, where only 1/500 are followers of Christ, and the vast majority cannot tell you who Jesus is. Most have never known a Christian. 60% of all the towns in Japan still have no church, no believer, and no witness to Jesus Christ. It is the 2nd largest unreached people group in the word, and Tokyo is the largest concentration of unreached people in the world.

Evangeline’s parents were Alliance home missionaries to the Native Americans in North Dakota. David’s parents and grandparents attended Pleasantview Alliance Church (Saegertown, PA) and Meadville Alliance Church.

Both David and Evangeline are graduates of Crown College, a Christian & Missionary Alliance school.

David and Evangeline have three adult children.
