Worship This Sunday
Living the Good Life — Simply, Yes! | Week 4 | Matthew 5:27–37 (NIV)
Join us this week as we continue to see how Jesus encourages us to live the good life that God has for us. In anticipation of worship, take a few moments to read Matthew 5:27-37.
FAC Family Picnic
Date: Saturday, August 3
Time: 4:00–7:00pm
Place: in the church parking lot
Join us for the FAC Family Picnic on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 4:00–7:00pm rain or shine for Food, Fellowship, Fun & Outdoor Games in our church parking lot. There is no cost to attend, and this will be a great opportunity to meet and re-connect with the members of our church family as we enjoy summertime in Erie. So, for our members and regular attenders - whether you've been a part of our family for many years or are new to our crew - we hope to see you there! We'll have a picnic dinner and fun for all ages.
Check out our table in the church lobby, register below, or contact the church office to sign up to attend or to help with the event. Registration in advance of the event is required so that we can plan for how many people will be attending.
Believer's Baptism
Date: Sunday, August 11
Time: 9:30 & 11am
Place: in the worship center
In response to so many within our congregation having made the decision to be baptized, we're already planning our next baptism service! If you've made the decision to follow Christ but have never been baptized, what's holding you back? At FAC, we celebrate these things together as a family, and we're planning a baptism service for Sunday, August 11 during both morning services. Baptism classes are a prerequisite for this, and these two classes will be held during the 4th and 5th week of July.

Nomination Forms Due
A reminder to all official members of FAC: Nomination forms are due this Sunday, July 21. You can place your completed form in the receptacle at The Hub.
The Collingsworth Family Classics and Hymns Fall Tour 2024
Date: Friday, October 4
Time: 7pm
Place: in the worship center
The Collingsworth Family is coming to FAC this fall! They are a Southern Gospel/Inspirational group started by Phil and Kim Collingsworth and feature their family as the group.
Tickets can be purchased by clicking on the button below or by calling 1-800-965-9324. Be sure to use the discount code "CFAM" for $5 off each ticket purchased.
Tickets will NOT be sold through the church office. If you need assistance purchasing your tickets online, please stop by The Hub on Sunday mornings.
Hearing Aid and Eyeglasses Collection for the Dominican Republic
We are collecting used hearing aids (in ANY condition) to provide hearing impaired people, who are in vulnerable conditions in the Dominican Republic, the opportunity to improve their quality of life. You can also donate hearing aid batteries that you no longer need. As a reminder, FAC is still collecting both prescription glasses and "readers" that will be donated to Meeting God In Missions in the Dominican. You can turn these items in at The Hub.
Prayer for International Workers
Rob and Barbara Quiring are international workers supported by FAC. They served for many years in Ecuador and are now located in Nebraska. In October the Share English program will celebrate 25 years of ministry. God continues to use it to open doors for building relationships with those who need to know Him.
You can learn more about them by picking up a copy of our “Prayer Guide for World Missions” near The Hub and you can partner with Rob & Barb in ministry by giving to the FAC Missions Fund.

A gentle reminder to our Sunday family: if the service has already started, please refrain from using the center aisle to enter or leave the worship center, especially during the sermon time. Our camera operator needs a clear view of the pulpit.
