facWEEKLY April 11

We hope you've had a good week, FAC Family! Here are just some of the great things happening in the coming weeks.

Worship This Sunday

Practices of the Way | Sabbath| 11:28-30

When learning to drive, one of the first things you're taught is to stop at a stop sign or red light. It’s a simple act that keeps us safe on the road.

But isn’t it interesting how, in our spiritual lives, we rarely stop? We’re constantly chasing the next thing, moving from one moment to the next—and it can leave us feeling exhausted.

In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus offers us something different: rest. This Sunday, as part of our “Practices of the Way” series, we’re diving into the spiritual practice of Sabbath—a practice of intentionally stopping to rest and reconnect with God.

We’d love for you to join us!

Date: Thursday, April 17
Time: noon–2:30pm
Place: in room E215 (Fireside Room)

Good Friday Service

Date: Friday, April 18
Time: 7:00pm
Place: in the Worship Center

Matthew 27 hauntingly explains the results of sin and why we are in such dire need of a Savior. The story of Jesus going to the cross is personal for each of us because He went to the cross for each of us. Each one is guilty. None of us are exempt. How great is His love for us.

Join us for our Good Friday service as Rev. Steve Volstad shares a message, "4 Consequences of Sin."

Please note that childcare will not be available; children are welcome and encouraged to join us. Additionally, the balcony will be closed for the evening.

Easter Sunday

Date: Sunday, April 20
Time: 10:15am

Because Jesus is alive, hope is alive! No matter where you’ve been or what you’re facing, His resurrection changes everything. There’s hope for the broken, rest for the weary, and the promise of new life in Him.

Come experience the hope of Easter with us! Invite your friends and family as we come together for ONE combined service at 10:15am. No other classes or ministries will be taking place, including children’s ministry and childcare, allowing everyone to attend and enjoy the service together. We look forward to seeing you there!
