Coming up this Sunday at FAC, we continue our message series called Teach Us to Pray, with a look at the importance of inviting people in to pray with us and for us.
40 Days of Prayer
Date: Continuing through February 13th
FAC family, we are kicking off the new year with a “40 Days of Prayer” organized by the Christian & Missionary Alliance. It’s not too late to join. There will be weekly virtual prayer encounters each Wednesday from 7:30–8:30pm. To register for this exciting event, click on the button below. There will be a limited number of paper copies at The Hub for the current week in English, Spanish and Chinese.
Kirk Cameron Live on Tour
Date: Wednesday, February 12
Time: 7:00pm (Doors open at 6:15pm)

Join actor Kirk Cameron for an inspiring evening of worship and teaching as he unveils the transformative insights of his new book, "Born to Be Brave." In a time of exciting cultural transition, Cameron delivers a compelling message of hope and courage, urging Christians to reclaim a vision of victory to strengthen our families and our communities. Drawing on biblical insights and personal stories, Cameron will gather the family of faith to encourage us to live compassionately, act with unwavering confidence and courage, to not just “stand strong,” but win the hearts and minds of this generation. The night also includes worship from special guest Matt Hammitt.

GriefShare – Grief Support Group
Date: Wednesdays, January 22–April 16
Time: 1–3pm
Place: in room B106
Cost: $20 (Includes workbook)
Thanks for being a part of a growing number of people that are open to the grieving process and want the support that GriefShare provides. We know it hurts and we want to help turn your mourning to joy.
There is a fee collected at the first session so that you may receive your very own workbook, even for the returning participants with this updated version.

Bar Hopping - for Senior Adults
Date: Friday, January 24
Time: 6–8pm
Place: in the Youth Center

We are going to have a baked potato BAR, an ice cream sundae BAR, and a Christian Comedy video from a group called Dry Comedy BAR. (Get it? “Bar” Hopping?) Now that you’ve put away the tar and feathers, get this Seniors event on your calendar! It’s an event you won’t want to miss!

Men's Retreat at Miracle Mountain Ranch
Date: Friday, January 31–Saturday, February 1
Place: Miracle Mountain Ranch, Spring Creek, PA
Cost: $80–$155 (depending on accommodation choice)
In a culture in which God’s Word and biblical manhood are often under attack, it has never become more necessary than now for men to strengthen and encourage one another towards spiritual growth. “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend” (Proverbs 27:17). In response to this need, we are very excited to join with Miracle Mountain Ranch for our annual Men’s Retreat.

facWomen's Crafty Saturday
Date: Saturday, February 8
Time: 1–3pm
Place: in the Gym
Come beat the winter blues with facWomen at Crafty Saturday! Women and girls of all ages are invited on Saturday, February 8, from 1–3pm in the FAC Gym. There is no cost to attend, and this will be a great opportunity to fellowship with sisters in Christ in a fun and relaxed environment while painting rocks in an adorable and easy Penguin design. No artistic skills necessary.

Men's Breakfast
Date: Saturday, February 8
Time: 9–10:30am
Place: in the Youth Center
Guys, join us on February 8 for the Winter 2025 Men's Breakfast. Come on out and enjoy amazing food and fellowship with others from FAC and the community.

Prayer for International Workers
Rob and Barbara Quiring are international workers supported by FAC. They served for many years in Ecuador and are now located in Nebraska. Pray for Barbara’s physical therapy to relieve pain from spinal stenosis. She continues to enjoy her ministry with the four-year-olds in Bible Study Fellowship. She has been a part of this ministry for 27 years.
