facWEEKLY April 12

We hope you've had a good week, FAC Family! Here are just some of the great things happening in the coming weeks.

Worship This Sunday

Acts: Movement and Mission | Week 2

In the early days following the resurrection of Jesus, God began to work in the hearts and lives of people.

Join us as we explore the power behind the movement and mission, as we look at Acts 2.

21 Days of Prayer

Last fall our church family participated in a guided season of prayer using a guide written by members of our church family. We are relaunching that prayer effort and inviting not only our prayer warriors to participate, but those of you who for one reason or another either didn’t or couldn’t participate last fall. Whether you find time to participate for a few days or every day, may God bless your spiritual walk.

You can find this prayer guide on our website (facerie.org) or pick up a printed copy at The Hub.

Finding My Fit is a 5-week course designed to help you discover your spiritual gifts and how you can use them not only at church, but also at work and in your relationships with others. Come and learn how you are uniquely created and designed by God. This course will be led by Tim Cotton and Joshua Clark.

To learn more or to sign up, visit the table in the lobby on Sunday. You can also register using the link below.

HOPE Sewing

Date: Monday, April 22
Time: 10am
Place: in Room F201 (meet at the church office)

One of the most desired items for a refugee woman is a sewing machine. Last summer over a dozen Afghan women were delighted to attend a sewing class a few days a week and share tea and Bible stories. HOPE Ministries is restarting their English sewing class this May and are looking for interested volunteers. You don't need to be a master seamstress; all levels of ability are appreciated. Come to our information meeting Monday, April 22 at 10am to learn more.

We're also looking for large segments of fabric, no scraps please. Donations are being collected Sunday mornings (April 14 & 21) in the lobby.

facWOMEN Mother & Daughter Luncheon

Date: Saturday, May 4
Time: 12pm
Place: in the Gym and Worship Center
Cost: $5

Calling all FAC Women and Girls - you're invited to our Mother & Daughter Luncheon. Be sure to reserve your seats early as seating is limited to the capacity of our gym. Check out our table in the church lobby for more information.

Prayer for International Workers

Holly Woodworth is working in Miami with the Christian & Missionary Alliance. March was a busy month. Three teams visited the Envision Site, we hosted a monthly Jr. High Bible Club at a local public school, and completed the first round of ESL classes. Pray for building inspections that are holding up further ministry.

You can partner with Holly in ministry by giving to FAC Missions Fund.

Sunday Footnotes:

A gentle reminder to our Sunday family: if the service has already started, please refrain from using the center aisle to enter or leave the worship center, especially during the sermon time. Our camera operator needs a clear view of the pulpit.

Do You Have a Prayer Request or Praise?

"Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere" (Ephesians 6:18, NLT).
The staff and elders at FAC would love to pray for you. Send your request or praise to Pastor Scott through the form below.
